Winners of the Case of the Week, 2011
This is the 13th year that we are posting the list of winners. Overall 437 participants found at least one correct answer for our cases of the weeks this year. Many more people just looked and tried to solve our cases from time to time. As usual I am humbled by the quality of all those who answered, their dedication to learning and their efforts in solving very difficult cases on just a few images. Congratulations to all sucessfull solvers! I would also like to thank all of those who had the generosity of their time to share their cases, TheFetus.net would not be able to continue without those. A particular thanks, as always goes to Fabrice Cuillier for all his superbly documented cases. Another important contributor this year has been Elena Andreeva (Елена Ðндреева) who has submitted a number of beautiful cases too. And as you review the list of winners over the past few years, it is remarkable to see all the talents that have come from the Eastern European countries and Russia. I am so glad that this is the case and they have submitted superb cases too. Thanks to Mikhail Medvedev (Михаил Медведев), for all his support in Russia and Eastern countries.

Finally the dedication and artistry of Franti Grochal is one of the reasons this site is so popular. Franti is such a remarkable physician and human being and I am privileged to be associated with him.

So for 2012, send in your good cases, you will make me immensely happy, tell your friends about the site (sometimes I travel to countries were very few people have actually visited) and good luck in your studies and lives!

Philippe & Franti

PS: In case I forgot to include your winning entry, please do remind me (send the E-mail). You will not offend me at all!
