Case report

The following images and video show a case of the ventricular septal defect diagnosed at 18th week of pregnancy.

Images 1, 2: 18 weeks of pregnancy; the images show color Doppler scans of the fetal heart at the level of the four-chamber view with the ventricular septal defect (arrow). The image 2 represents a fusion of the image 1 with a drawing explaining the structures visible on the image 1 (RV - right ventricle; LV - left ventricle; arrow points at the color jet streaming through ventricular septal defect).
