Case report

The following images show two cases of the vasa praevia diagnosed during second trimester scanning.

Case 1

Images 1, 2: The image 1 shows lower segment of the uterus with two parts of the placenta (PL) localized on the anterior and posterior walls of the uterus. The images 2 shows color Doppler imagination of the vasa praevia passing above the inner os of the cervix.

Images 3, 4: The images show gray scale (Image 3) and color Doppler (Image 4) scans of the fetal cervix with the vasa praevia crossing the inner os of the cervix.
