Unilateral cleft lip, cleft palate

Case report:

This is a 28-year-old woman without relevant past obstetrical history. The first scan and the triple test were normal. At 20 weeks, the sonography revealed a unilateral cleft lip. No others malformations were detected.

The patient was referred to our unit at 24 weeks. We confirmed uni-lateral cleft lip and palate (Figure 1, 2, 3, 4).The karyotype was 46 XX. Brain was normal, with a normal corpus callosum. Upper extremity and ears were normal.

The patient delivered at 38 weeks. The diagnosis was confirmed. The baby was operated at six month of life.
