Case report
This is a 13 week-old fetus with several anomalies that turned out to be related to the trisomy 18. Our ultrasound examination discovered a dilatation of the lateral cerebral ventricles with the choroid plexus cyst on the right. Hygroma coli and ventricular septal defect were also present. The serological tests (Toxoplasmosis, Rubeola, CMV, Herpes, Chikungunya) were normal, but the amniocentesis revealed an abnormal karyotype - 47XX+18. Parents opted for the termination of the pregnancy.
