Ebstein anomaly

Case report:

This is a case of congenital heart anomaly: Ebstein, pulmonary atresia, atrial septal defects.

After birth, the baby was transferred to NICU and alive under ventilator. The patent ductus arteriosus was maintained by prostaglandin therapy which shifted blood from left to the right.

Ultrasound findings:

  • Ebstein anomaly with severely dilated right atrium and right ventricle.
  • Pulmonary atresia.

Chest Xray:

Marked cardiomegaly of mixed configuration.
The lateral cardiophrenic angles are clear.
