Agenesis of the corpus callosum

Case report

This is a case of the isolated corpus callosum agenesis. The mother (G4P3) was from a nonconsanguineous couple with noncontributive anamnesis. Her first trimester ultrasound and triple test were normal. The karyotype was normal (46XX). The diagnosis was confirmed by MRI.

The neonate was delivered at 35 weeks and its clinical neurological examinmation was normal.
